Who is Samantha Leong?

In science

Samantha has a background in bioengineering. Her cross-disciplinary foundation evolved into a career in systems integration in the R&D space — next-generation sequencing (NGS), microfluidics, cleanroom fabrication, software, and hardware.

In art

To Samantha, creating is an act of transferring. She’s curious about the insertion of self into her perceived reality, so she sends out newsletters every month to annotate her interactions with the world. She creates so she does not forget.

As a consumer

Samantha is drawn to horology due to a chance encounter with a sub-micron fabrication process of a watch part. She partakes in watch events to share her collection and more importantly, add to the growing image folder of ill-fitting watches on her wrist.

She is currently improving her motorbiking skills.
